THE ARIZONA TOUR…

On February 22nd, John Van Houten and Beth Mitchell embarked on their first Recital and Masterclass Tour for Kanstul Instruments.  With the help of Jack Kanstul, the pair crossed the desert state of Arizona and visited  Highland High School, Corona del Sol High School, Mountain Pointe High School, as well as Arizona State University in Phoenix and The University of Arizona in Tucson.  Many performances were given, many tubas played, and much fun was had by all.

JOHN VAN HOUTEN is a free-lance studio artist in Los Angeles, and can be heard on the soundtracks for Star Trek, The Incredibles, Mission Impossible I-IV, the Simpsons and many, many more.

BETH MITCHELL has toured many times across the United States and Europe as a solo recitalist and free-lance musician. She teaches at several colleges in the Los Angeles area.
